Kristen’s Boulder Renovation

Kristen Bendele teamed up with designer Kate Hartman for a home renovation in Boulder, updating the master bathroom, entryway, family room, and kitchen to fix the house’s dated look. A burst pipe in the kitchen sped up their plans unexpectedly.

Kristen, recommended by an architect friend, admired Kate’s mix of creativity and practical engineering. Kate’s knack for introducing fresh ideas while staying organized was a big help given Kristen’s busy schedule.

The design theme featured neutral tones, brass accents, and a modern feel, creating a cohesive look. Kristen appreciated Kate’s solutions for design dilemmas, which helped avoid constant changes to furnishings that frustrated her husband.
