Our Favorite Stores In Boulder
We have four of our favorite shopping stores in Boulder plus two restaurants to make a whole day of local goods and more. Check out our favorites!
Cedar & Hyde Mercantile
“Cedar & Hyde is a rare-find, modern-day mercantile.”
This local Boulder store opened in 2013 and expanded to create an online shop in 2016 and then to Cedar & Hyde Home in 2018. We love Cedar & Hyde for home accessories, candles, soaps, lotions, and pottery. It is a bonus that the cute clothing boutique is right next door!
Strutz & Copeland Florist and Greenhouses
“Sturtz and Copeland has been keeping Boulder in bloom since 1929!”
This local Boulder florist and greenhouse offers fresh-cut flowers, arrangements, house plants, garden supplies, and more. We love stopping by Strutz & Copeland to grab house plants, decorative pots, and beautiful orchids.
Jones + Co. Modern Mercantile
“Slow fashion + conscious curations for mind, body and planet”
This gorgeous shop offers perfectly curated collections of home accessories, decor, and more. We love Jones + Co. for their beautiful glassware, pottery, and small home accessories.
“The Smithsonian of Cookstores”
This store has been local to downtown Boulder for over 35 years and offers specially selected imported kitchen goods, gadgets, and more. We love Peppercorn for pre-party prep including table linens, hostess gifts, and holiday items.
“A hot cup of exceptional coffee, and delicious, thoughtful fare, served up in an intentionally designed space – that’s what we call the good life.”
In the middle of a long shopping day, we love stopping into Alpine Modern for a mid-day coffee boost. This coffee shop occupies an old Boulder community center, an alpine cabin at the base of the flat irons. Aside from delicious hot coffee, it is a quaint and inviting local stop.
Located in the center of Boulder, BASTA restaurant has fostered a devoted community around its distinctive approach to cuisine. Basta translated to “enough” in Italian and this restaurant operates with a single wood-fired oven. We love this spot for after-shopping dinner.
