The Kate Hartman Interiors Style

Whether your project is new construction, renovation or just a furnishings project, Kate Hartman Interiors strives to get to know every client and their particular style. It’s all in what makes our clients unique, you could say we have a variety of modern and vintage design styles. We will also assist clients in settling on a style if they are not quite sure which style they would like. We know that sentimental pieces can mean the world to some of our clients so we will consider them along with heirloom accessories when creating a design while maintaining our signature welcoming feel.

Taking Interior Design in Mapleton Hill to the Next Level

Kate Hartman Interiors set the expectations from the beginning. Clients will fully know what to expect and be immediately notified of any issues and solutions. Our budget-first mindset and clear process, from the beginning, are what sets us apart from other Mapleton Hill Interior designers. There are no two projects alike. We fully outline what we do, how we will work with you, and what our terms and conditions are upfront before moving forward with budgeting and the planning process.

Budget Expectations and Interior Design Fees

From the beginning, we create a complete interior design plan that includes fixtures & finishes, colors, and even accessories. Making these decisions early in the process allows for adjustments to meet budget expectations before a client can get their heart set on an out-of-budget item or realize there is no need to settle for a lower-budget item. Why settle when you don’t have to? This process also allows for budget planning to complete your project. Our in-depth planning process consists of three key budgeting aspects

  1. Fixtures & Finish Allowances
  2. Furnishings Budget
  3. Detailed Elevations Budget

We follow a clear and concise process for budget development before moving to the next step in a project. All details are equally as important and there are no corners cut.

When completing a consultation there is a generous amount of time that goes into the process that includes: visualizing a design, selecting items, creating an itemized budget, keeping consistent communication, and so much more.

Kate Hartman Interiors includes a consultation fee for the initial consultation, budgeting, and follow-up meeting. Once we move on to the design phase, clients pay an hourly rate for our services (this includes all of the time it takes to create and facilitate all pieces of the project from start to finish) in addition to paying for the furnishings. We also go the extra mile to further help budgeting plans by giving an estimate of the anticipated hours we will need to complete each design selection for each space.

How To Select A Mapleton Hill Interior Designer

There are no two Mapleton Hill interior designers that are alike, which means there are a few things you should keep in mind when choosing an interior design firm.

First- search for previous projects they’ve completed. You should consider if their style fits your current style or a style you might be interested in. View the Kate Hartman Interiors Portfolio. From commercial office spaces to pool houses, we’ve partnered with clients to help them achieve their interior design dreams.

Second- think about your budget. Kate Hartman sets budget expectations from the start and understands if something is out of a price range. It’s imperative to find an interior designer that you like, that is also within your price range.

Third- when you have arrived at the point of wanting to hire an interior designer, contact as early as possible and be prepared to be put on a waitlist. Depending on how many projects they are currently working on there may be a waitlist. During your wait, there may be some planning to take place but finalizations will not happen for a few months.

Let us know how we can help you with your next project.
