The Kate Hartman Interiors Style

It doesn’t matter whether your project is a new construction build, a complete renovation, or just a furnishings project, Kate Hartman Interiors strives to get acquainted with every single client and their one-of-a-kind style. You could say that we have an abundant mix of modern and vintage designs, so everyone can find something they like. Sometimes clients don’t always know what they want and we will assist them with settling on the best style for them. We also consider precious pieces like heirloom and sentimental pieces when coming up with designs This elevates the uniqueness of the design on top of bringing in that welcoming feel for clients.

Elevating Interior Designs In Wonderland Hills

Kate Hartman Interiors sets expectations at the forefront. Clients will know what to expect and be immediately notified of any issues and solutions. Our clear process and budget-first mindset are what sets us apart from other Wonderland Hills interior designers. Because there are no two projects alike, we clearly outline what we do, how we do it, and how we will work with you. We also state what our terms and conditions are upfront before even moving forward with the budget and planning.

Budget Expectations

We create and layout a complete interior design plan at the beginning that includes: colors, fixtures and finishes, and accessories. Deciding on these items early in the process allows for budget adjustments to meet expectations. This prevents clients from getting their hearts set on an out-of-budget item or realizing there is no need to settle for a lower-budget item that they may not love. This process allows for detailed budget planning to complete your project. Our detailed planning process consists of three key budgeting features:

  1. Detailed Elevations Budget
  2. Furnishings Budget
  3. Fixtures and FInish Allowances

We follow a clear and concise process for developing budgets before moving forward to the next steps of the project because every detail is equally important. There are no corners cut, you get honesty and accuracy upfront.

Interior Designer Fees

There is so much time that goes into completing a consultation that includes visualizing a design, selecting the desired items for the design, laying out an itemized budget, keeping constant and consistent communication, and more.

This is why Kate Hartman Interiors includes a consultation fee for the initial consultation, budgeting, and follow-up meetings. Once we get into the design phase our clients will pay an hourly rate for services (the time it takes to create the design and facilitate all aspects of the project from start to finish). This is in addition to paying for furnishings. We will also tell you how many hours we anticipate are needed to complete the design selections for each space. This number is given so that our clients can make the best decisions which helps with budget planning.

How To Choose A Wonderland Hills Interior Designer

Just as there are no two interior design projects alike, there are no two Wonderland Hills interior designers alike. When beginning the process of choosing an interior design firm, there are a few helpful things to keep in mind.

First– check out what previous projects they have completed. Decide if their style fits your current style or a style you would like.

View the Kate Hartman Interiors Portfolio. From children’s playrooms to commercial office spaces, we have helped clients to fulfill their interior design dreams

Second – consider what you want your budget to be. We set budget expectations in the beginning and understand if something is out of your price range. It’s very important to find an interior designer you like that is also within your price range.

Third- when you finally come to the point where you want to hire an interior designer make sure to contact them early and expect them to put you on a waitlist. Depending on how many projects an interior design firm is working on at the time you contact them, will determine if they have a waitlist or not. However most of the time you should expect to be placed on one. During the waiting time, there is some planning that may happen but finalizations will not happen for a few more months.

Let us know how we can help you with your next project.
